Chairman's Message

"Kaleton Ltd was incorporated in 2009 to provide a range of IT, software and internet services to the care home sector. By communicating honestly and clearly with decision makers, avoiding jargon and explaining technical issues in simple terms the company makes IT less daunting for our customers. We help our clients to invest in the right technology for their situation and embrace it as a way of improving their business, rather than seeing it as an obstacle.

With many care home operators failing to take full advantage of technology, Kaleton's involvement in their business can provide a big boost. Our goal is always to save your company money without sacrificing quality.

As Chairman I look forward to building on Kaleton's position as a service provider to the care home sector whilst also expanding into other markets. With over 1600 care and nursing homes in Yorkshire alone this remains our core market and we continue to develop solutions tailored to their needs. However, all modern companies need effective information systems in order to operate to their full potential and maximise profitability.

For many companies it makes commercial sense to outsource this area of the business to experts instead of attempting to handle it in-house. Indeed, many of our customers see us as their IT department.

Kaleton provides all the technology our clients need, from web site development to managed network infrastructure. As well as providing a range of IT services, the company has developed innovative technology products such as our web based security camera system that brings CCTV into the 21st century. 

With an exciting pipeline of new Internet based products under development and a clear vision for moving forwards I am confident that the company has a very bright future."

About Keith Madeley MBE

Keith was appointed Chairman of Kaleton Ltd in 2010. He is also currently the Chairman of The Prince's Trust for Yorkshire and the Humber as well as the Yorkshire Society and the Duke of York's Community Initiative. Such is his passion for the region that Keith Madeley is often referred to as 'Mr Yorkshire'. In January 2011 Keith's work promoting the region was recognised by the Queen and he was awarded an MBE in the New Year's honours list.
